Nestled on the coast of the Azure Sea is Saltmarsh, a sleepy fishing village that sits on the precipice of destruction. Smugglers guide their ships to hidden coves, willing to slit the throat of anyone foolhardy enough to cross their path. Cruel sahugin gather beneath the waves, plotting to sweep away coastal cities. Drowned sailors stir to unnatural life, animated by dark magic and sent forth in search of revenge. The cult of a forbidden god extends its reach outward from a decaying port, hungry for fresh victims and willing recruits. While Saltmarsh slumbers, the evils that seek to plunder it grow stronger. Heroes must arise to keep the waves safe!
The Pirates of Saltmarsh is a unique, open world one-shot style campaign where at the end of every adventure, their impact will have lasting effects on the world of Saltmarsh. Players are welcome to bring back their characters or even new ones to level up and flesh out throughout the ever changing landscape of the campaign and their own character stories!

A DND 2024 Level 1 Character Sheet fully filled out
This is a 3 hour Dungeons and Dragons 5.5E session for those who have already participated in the learn to play, or players that already know the mechanics of D&D 5.5E edition!

Game Master: Nick (He/Him)
Nick, has been a Dungeon Master for 10 years, experienced in many mainstream and indie RPG systems. Outside of RPGs, Nick has several years of theatre experience, being an actor in his youth and continuing his studies even now. He is upbeat and theatrical, standing and acting out dramatic action sequences and quiet emotional scenes. More than anything, Nick always tries his best to deliver an experience, something that will be a special memory for everyone.
EVENT POLICIES
Due to the limited spaces available for this event, we will not be issuing refunds for this event less than 48 hours before the event. Be sure to purchase the ticket for the correct date. This event will run only if a minimum of 5 tickets have been purchased 48 hours before the event, if we do not meet this minimum threshold, we will notify and refund you for the cancellation of your ticket.
SPECTATORS: DUE TO LIMITED SEATING IN OUR PLAY SPACE WE CANNOT ALLOW SPECTATORS UNLESS THEY PAY A SEATING FEE OF $8+TAX/PERSON TO ATTEND AS A PATRON OF OUR BOARD GAME CAFE.
This fee is regardless of whether they sit, stand, or make use of the games in our library. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Players age under 16 must have parent/guardian consent to take part in the event. Players 14 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian and purchase 2 tickets in total to both take part in the event.
