A teen girl sits on the windowsill, reading a well-worn paperback and listening to the splashy-crashy rain come down. She's alone in the world, but it won't be long until the strange folk who reside here become her amazing new family…”
Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast is a roleplaying game unlike any other, full of charming characters and a whimsical world. Pick up various residents and guests of the B&B and help them on their journeys. Scramble eggs with a talking frog, get in a snowball fight with the harbinger of the apocalypse, and even try to mend the heart of the wicked witch who runs the place. Everything you do will leave a mark on the book, with stickers and trinkets, until you've created something entirely your own.
This is a 1 day event! We will teach you how to play on the day, then run a 2 hour session using a long-time resident or guest character. These sessions are introductory friendly for new players to try Yazeba's Bed & Breakfast.
Every event will be a chapter in the book, with more unlocked over time!

Matthew began Game Mastering remotely in 2023, and has since run many games in a variety of systems, enjoying the way storytelling and game-feel changes with each system. Currently a performer in Community Musical Theatre, he brings physicality and voice to each session. With an additional background as a language educator, it makes sure the first time experience is clear, exciting, and motivates further play! Tabletop Roleplaying is an avenue for them to grow community, so he even started a community Actual Play show in Mississauga: Table Stage.

- Some tokens, index cards, or playing card deck, depending on the Chapter.

CANCELLATIONS, LATENESS/ABSENCE AND WAITLIST: Event tickets are non-refundable if you do not provide us with at least 24 hours notice of being unable to attend. Store credit will be issued.
SPECTATORS: DUE TO LIMITED SEATING IN OUR PLAY SPACE WE CANNOT ALLOW SPECTATORS UNLESS THEY PAY A SEATING FEE OF $8+TAX/PERSON TO ATTEND AS A PATRON OF OUR BOARD GAME CAFE.
This fee is regardless of whether they sit, stand, or make use of the games in our library. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
