Hello adventurers! We are introducing another RPG session;
Train Heist.
The players in this campaign are notorious Outlaws - successful career criminals living on the fringes of society. They have been invited by a Mysterious Benefactor to take part in what could be the greatest train heist of all time. The opportunity is too good to pass up! The Outlaws don’t yet know what they’re supposed to steal but know they’ll be paid 1 million gold pieces to be divided amongst the crew if they succeed. The crew has been assembled by the Benefactor, and the Outlaws don’t know who they’re working with until they meet at the start of the adventure. Characters are created at the start of the game by drawing three cards, in order: An Outlaw, a Personality and a Secret.
1.The Outlaw Card determines the character’s game statistics: their abilities, skills, inventory and any special powers they may have. Each Outlaw card is matched with a Character Sheet that details these statistics.
2. The Personality Card can be used to inform the way the player chooses to role-play their character and their attitude towards other characters in the game.
3. The Secret Card details the character’s secret mission. They can choose to keep this mission a secret or to share it with other players during any stage of the game. They may also choose to ignore the secret mission if they decide completing the heist is more important to their character.
- This one shot is for players with some experience with D&D
- Pre-generated characters will be provided
- Runs for approximately 2-4 hours
Game Master: Sebastian (He/Him)
Sebastian has been GMing since the start of the pandemic and tend to run games with a strong focus on improvisation, while still being very familiar with the rules. He gravitates toward heroic-style campaigns—stories about brave, hopeful characters doing the right thing—but are open to other tones and playstyles. Often he runs preset modules rather than fully homebrewed content, but after learning Daggerheart, are interested in experimenting with some homebrew ideas for that system.
Due to the limited spaces available for this event, we will not be issuing refunds for this event less than 48 hours before the event. Be sure to purchase the ticket for the correct date.
